We are so excited that the Stowe Mountain Lodge Classic will be returning to Stowe for it’s second year, from August 18th through the 22nd! For those of you who didn’t get the chance to attend last year, you definitely won’t want to miss out on this awesome tennis tournament in the heart of the Green Mountains!
Local company, Grand Slam Tennis Tours, partnered with Stowe Mountain Lodge to build a state of the art, professional tennis court at the base of the mountain. The court is surrounded by grandstand style seating, and has a capacity of 2,751 guests. Compared to other tennis tournaments, it’s very intimate and every seat provides a close view of the court. We also love that you can see the ski trails in the background- it’s the best of both worlds!
This year, there will be many different food & beverage sponsors at the event. We’ve rounded up the few that we are super excited about enjoying while we watch the tennis matches!
Idletyme Brewing Company: In between matches, relax in the official Idle Zone! ITBCO will be at the event serving up all of their delicious beers, and are also hosting a Meet the Players party at their restaurant.
WhistlePig Rye Whiskey: Some of the finest whiskey, made right in Vermont! We can’t wait to try their signature event cocktail, the Forty-Love.
Lake Champlain Chocolates: I mean, who doesn’t enjoy snacking on gourmet chocolates & truffles while watching tennis?
Elmore Mountain Therapeutics: EMT is a locally owned CBD company, and they team up with places like PK Coffee and Honey Suckle Juice Co. to provide wonderful CBD infused drinks & treats. Can’t wait to see what they bring!
