The Depot Street Malt Shop

We love the diner theme at the Malt Shop, and enjoy it’s classic ice cream shop vibes.

Stowe Ice Cream

This is our favorite local ice cream shop when we are craving a creemee. All ice cream is homemade & it’s delicious!

Go-to Order: Maple Creemee in a Cone with Chocolate Sprinkles

When We’re Feeling Adventurous: Vanilla Orange Twist Creemee with Rainbow Sprinkles

Mountain View Snack Shack

When the snack shack finally opens for the season, you know summer has truly arrived!

When We’re Feeling Adventurous: Reese’s Pieces Sundae

Ben & Jerry’s Factory

It’s not open at night time, but it’s a great day trip! If you’re visiting Stowe for the first time, it’s a must to take a tour of the factory and grab an ice cream cone.

Go-to Order: Phish Food in a Waffle Cone

When We’re Feeling Adventurous: The Vermonster – it’s a “20 scoop mountain of magic” and we only recommend this if you are with a large group of friends, as it’s quite the challenge to finish it!

WILDCARD PICK: Jackwax at Harvest Market

While it’s not exactly ice cream, we do love the freshly shaved Hawaiian snow cones from Jackwax! They used to be located outside the Rusty Nail, but they have moved to the smoothie bar at Harvest Market. Stop on by during an afternoon when you are looking for a yummy treat to cool you down!
