Brunch… it’s probably our favorite meal. I mean, who doesn’t love freshly cooked bacon drizzled with Vermont maple syrup? And mimosas before noon? Yeah, I’m in! Here’s a list of our top five brunch spots in Stowe!
Picnic Social
We often forget about this place as a brunch option, but every time we do go it’s amazing! Recently, we had the egg sandwich which comes with an english muffin, homemade sausage patty and sage breakfast potatoes. It’s SO good! The PS Burger is also on the menu at brunch and it’s delicious! The Skinny Pancake
The Skinny Pancake’s main locations are in Burlington and Montpelier, but we are so excited that they’ve opened a seasonal shop up at the mountain. It’s only open on weekends during peak times, so check the hours before you go. It’s located right in the Spruce Peak Plaza, and they make the best crepes! Try the “Lovemaker” which is filled with Nutella and Strawberries with a dollap of whipped cream on top. It’s name doesn’t disappoint 😉

McCarthy’s Restaurant
It really doesn’t get much more Stowe than McCarthy’s Restaurant. The Irish themed diner has been a staple in the Stowe restaurant scene for over 40 years! It’s locally run and operated and it’s always got a line out the door on weekends. It’s worth the wait (goes by faster than you think!) as you’ll get great service and traditional brunch foods like pancakes, omelettes and french toast.

Butler’s Pantry
This family owned and operated restaurant only serves brunch, so you know it is going to be good! We love that they have your traditional brunch foods, but also healthy options like the Acai Bowl. The Eggs Benedict is amazing though, so we tend to order the unhealthy stuff anyway 🙂 Check out our full post about what’s good at Butler’s Pantry here!

Flannel at Topnotch Resort
For a real boozy brunch, check out Flannel at Topnotch Resort, since they have the best cocktails! For instance, the Mt. Mansfield Sunset features local vodka from Smuggler’s Notch Distillery, Chambord, pineapple & cranberry juice served on the rocks. For a brunch cocktail, it doesn’t get much better! Pair that with Milan’s Match Day plate featuring 2 poached eggs, smokehouse ham, local kale & grilled tomato and we are in heaven!
