The von Trapp Brewing Bierhall is both a restaurant and a brewery. It’s set up like a traditional bierhall, with indoor picnic tables and an open view of the brewery (which you can also tour). There’s a small patio outside that has amazing views of the mountains and it will really have you channeling your inner Sound of Music! The vibes, the views and the brews make this place one of our favorites!
What’s Good?
The Beer: We highly recommend getting a flight of beer, as it is so much fun to sip and compare the different brews! They are all great, but our favorites are the Helles and the Vienna. Prost!
Pretzels with House Mustard: Seriously, SO good! We can’t get enough of these, and they’ll pair perfectly with your flight of beer!
Three Dips: This is a great app to share. It comes with hummus, pimento cheese and a smoked trout dip and it is served with pita and crackers. We always love a good hummus, but ended up liking the pimento cheese dip the best!
Kebabs: You choice of either chicken, beef or vegetable kebabs served over a salad with a yummy lemon garlic dill yogurt sauce. Healthy, fresh & delicious!
Grilled Salmon: This awesome dish is made with a tasty maple mustard glaze, and served with roasted vegetables and farro. Yum!
Insider Tip: When they built the Bierhall, they added a trail directly to the Bierhall from the Mountain Biking / Cross Country trails. They’ve really thought of everything! There is also a disc golf course just behind the brewery which is pretty fun!
